2024 “Haifu Cup” Case Competition

(Competition on Focused Ultrasound Case Study)


Since the establishment of the training center of National Engineering Research Center of Ultrasound Medicine(NERCUM) in 2017, it has organized 97 HIFU training courses, with 1946 doctors and nurses been trained in the Center by 2023. To provide a chance for doctors performing HIFU to learn from each other, our center is working jointly with Young ISMIVS Committee and Suining Central Hospital, to launch a competition on focused ultrasound case study, under the sponsorship of Chongqing Haifu Medical Co., Ltd. We warmly welcome you to join this event!

The competition will have two rounds:


First round: Submit your case study video and presentation slides to the organizer’s email, hannahxu@isminim.org before May 31, 2024. A professional judging panel will select 15 excellent case studies into the second round before June 31, 2024.  


Second round (final round): The contestants who get into the second round will present his/her case study in Suining, China, or join online. More details about the final round will be released in the mail to the finalists.


Requirements for the Case Study Video:

1. The case shall be done using focused ultrasound technology;

2. Any indication is acceptable, the case selected is require to be innovative in therapeutic modalities, methods and theories;

3. The video submitted are suggested to include: patient history, examinations, diagnosis, treatment protocols, treatment procedures , follow-ups;

4. Video: 8-10 minutes in MP4, clear quality without noise;

5. Speaker shall properly dressed with upper half-body appearing on the camera;

6. Language: English.


Prize:

First Prize: 5,000RMB (1 contestant)

Second Prize: 3,000RMB (2 contestants)

Third Prize: 2,000 (3 contestants)
